The contract has been signed for Project “PGU 235 -PGU 110” in Astrakhan to supply cable type 2X(Fl) 2Y1X400/70-110 kV – 9.95 km, produced by Estralin HVC. It is an Expansion of District Heating “Central” – one of the most important investments in Astrakhan. The project includes the construction of two combined cycle power plants with total capacity of 235 MW (120 MW and 115 MW). It is planned that after commissioning of the power units the new power plants will be transferred to the category of Thermal/Heat Power Station (HPS). Created by PGU-235 and PGU-110 Astrakhan GRES, launched in 2011, effectively eliminates the problem of district heating supply in both industrial and residential areas of the city.
