HPP Zvornik is one of the most important Serbian Hydro Power Plant on the Drina river. Elektroprivreda Srbija (Serbian Utility) has signed with the company Voith Hydro a contract for the overhaul of the HPP Zvornik with the main scope to increase the installed power by 30% from the existing 4x24MW to 4×31,2MW. As the overhaul will last for at least 5 years, there was a need to move the existing two 110kV OHTL (Overhead Transmission Lines) on one side of the river, so as to make the space for the civil and mechanical construction. As the temporary solution, the by-pass by cable connection has been chosen to connect of the remaining part of the OHTLs and the two block-transformers. Our factory has produced the cable for this project 2XS(Fl)Y 1X240/95-64/110 kV – 0,52 km, cable accessories were produced by Arkasil SK (МКВ 126-12 pcs.). Cable accessories installation were performed under Arkasil team supervision.
